LIFE
Currently, looking at life like those two lines we learned about in school,
The parallel lines.
You know, always running side by side, always in the same direction, but never touching.
And that’s how I think this life is.
The dreams, hopes, things we longed for, they were on one line, and we were on the other, running, always running, but never close enough to reach them.
We thought life was like this cruel trick, where we could see what we wanted, it was right there, close enough to feel its presence, but always out of grasp.
We had get frustrated, watching others catch what we couldn’t seeing people live the dreams we had only ever wished for.
And it made us feel small, insignificant, like maybe my fate was to just watch, never to touch.
"Why do some people get to live in the stars, while the rest of us are stuck staring at the night?"
I’d think to myself on quiet nights, when everything was too heavy to hold, but too hard to let go.
And made peace with that feeling for a while being a witness to the life I wanted.
But what we have forgotten is,
"Even Parallel lines meet at infinity.”
At first, it must sound like a joke. Infinity? That's not real.
That’s some distant, unreachable place that none of us will ever see.
But then, I started thinking about it.
If parallel lines, which are supposed to never touch, can meet at infinity, maybe that meant that what I wanted, what I chased, wasn’t lost after all.
Maybe it just wasn’t time.
I started to see my life in a different light, as though it was unfolding toward something greater.
Every disappointment, every failure, every time I thought I was being pushed farther away from what I wanted maybe it was just part of the road to infinity.
"What is meant for you cannot pass you by."
Fate isn’t something that keeps things from you; it’s something that brings them to you when you’re ready.
Because life doesn’t work on our clock, but on its own, a rhythm that we can’t always hear or understand.
So,
I stopped chasing.
I started trusting.
I realized that just because I couldn't see the meeting point, didn’t mean it wasn’t there. Sometimes, the things that seem the farthest from us are on their way, but we have to give them time to arrive.
And now, instead of feeling like I’m constantly running, I let life come.
I trust that the things I dream of, the love I hope for, the success I strive toward, they’re all somewhere along my path.
I may not see them yet, but they’re coming.
I just have to keep moving forward. Parallel lines meet at infinity.
At Infinity,
Right,At infinity,
"The stars didn’t rush to burn bright,
So why should we race to find our light?"
Like rivers that flow without care for time,
Like shadows that dance without reason or rhyme,
I learned to wait, like the mountains do,
Still and silent, but holding the truth.
The path ahead may seem long,
The nights may be quiet, the days feel wrong,
But parallel lines they meet somewhere far,
At the end of the horizon, where dreams are.
"What’s in your fate will come like rain,
It will wash away your doubt, your pain."
For now, we run in two different lines,
But when the world shifts, when the stars align,
You’ll find me there, at infinity’s gate,
Where what’s meant for us doesn’t come too late.
Like the moon that rises without a rush,
Like the dawn that breaks with a gentle hush,
I’ll be patient, I’ll be still,
For what’s written for me will find me still.
"The universe has a way, you’ll see,
Of bending itself toward destiny."
Parallel lines they never touch, they say,
But at infinity, they’ll find a way.
For what is distant, what is far,
Will come to you like a falling star.
So run your race, but know this truth
At infinity, we’ll meet, me and you.
